We handle returns on a case-by-case basis with the ultimate objective of making our customers happy. We stand behind our goods and services and want customers to be satisfied with them. We'll always do our best to take care of customers—our philosophy is to deal with them fairly and reasonably.
Your order number helps us locate your purchase the fastest. If you don't have an order number, we should be able to find the purchase in other ways, but we may ask you for more information so we can better assist with your request.
Please contact our Operations Team 844-PAY-SMRT or email info@paycheckworks.com during regular business hours of 9:00 am to 6:00 pm EST, We will walk you through the return process and answer any questions you have. This process may take several days, so it is important to initiate the return within 2 business days. This information can also be obtained by logging into your account and accessing your order history. After you have contacted customer service, we will provide you with an RMA number and form, you will need to put this number on the outside of the package. This RMA number provides us with all the details we need to expedite your return. In addition, place this form in the original box with the item(s) you are returning. Please use a signature required service such as FedEx or UPS to send your return back to us to guarantee delivery. *Please note Paycheck Works is not responsible for return shipping costs. Your account will be credited once the item is en-route back to the warehouse minus the original shipping costs for the item.
Small (parcel) items that aren’t portable electronics
Most purchases ship with UPS, Federal Express or the United States Postal Service. If one of these parcel items is damaged, defective, the wrong item or not as described, please contact Customer Service within 48 hours to report the issue. Once a claim is filed and processed you have 30 days to return the item at no charge. Instructions and/or resolution steps will be provided once the outcome of the claim has been determined. Please do not discard the damaged item or any of its original packaging. You can also work directly with the manufacturer to repair or replace the item. If you’ve changed your mind about the item and it’s unopened and unused, you can return it within 30 days for a 10% restock fee (+ shipping and tax if applicable).
Portable electronics
If a cell phone, iPad or tablet arrives damaged, defective, as the wrong item or not as described, please contact Customer Service within 48 hours to report the issue. Once a claim is filed and processed you have 14 days to return the item at no charge. Instructions and/or resolution steps will be provided once the outcome of the claim has been determined. Please do not discard the damaged item or any of its original packaging. You can also work directly with the manufacturer to repair or replace the item.
If you need to return a defective device, be sure to remove all your personal information and accounts before you erase the device with a factory reset.
- Remove your Google accounts from an Android device (Samsung, Google Pixel, LG)
- Remove your accounts from an Apple device (iPhone, iPad)
We cannot process your account credit until the device has been returned with all personal and account detail removed. If you have changed your mind about the cell phone, iPad or tablet you bought is unopened and unused, you can return it within 14 days for a 10% restock fee (+ shipping and tax if applicable). We inspect all returns. If the item isn’t the original one you purchased or is in a condition that doesn’t match the return reason, you'll be assessed a return fee and may have the item sent back to you.
Freight items
Purchases that ship by freight, like appliances or large furniture pieces, are not eligible to return unless they arrive damaged Check your freight item carefully before you sign for it. If your freight item arrives damaged, please refuse delivery and contact us {need a link here that directs to paycheckworks.com/contacts/} right away. If you find damage or a defect later, report it within 2 business days of delivery to talk through your options. You can also work directly with the manufacturer to repair or replace the item.
